About Us
Jane:  "I love to burn candles."  But I found out my candles were making me cough, have watery eyes, and giving me slight headaches.  In 2004; I did some research and found out about Soy Wax.  I was so amazed by soy wax and it's benefits; I wanted to start making them.  I told my sister about this idea and she was just as excited as I.  We started selling our candles in 2005 to family and friends, and their friends and so on...
 
Jean: I am a hard working Supervisor at a car parts manufacturing plant in Troy, Ohio. I love burning candles but I hate the black smoke it leaves in my home. My sister approached me with the idea of making 100% Soy wax candles after she did her research on such a wonderful burning candle and had enlisted my help. I enjoy helping with the candles, and all the scents we work with, her candle room is like being in heaven all the time.  If you haven't burned a soy wax candle, check us out- now is the time- and you will simply love our products!! One day I hope to quit my job to do this full time.

Company history
 
J & J Candle Scentsations started in 2005 in a special room I designated as my "health room".  It took my sister and I approximately 2 weeks to come up with a candle formula that works and is well received by our customers.

We think of our product as NATURE'S FLAME.  Because of the health benefits of a natural product.  SOYBEAN wax provides a way to scent the air without those harmful carcinogens polluting the air in your home.

MY OLDEST SON CORY HAS AUTISM.  HE IS A DELIGHT AND A JOY IN MY LIFE.  EVERY TIME I SEE HIM, I FEEL THAT I AM SEEING JESUS.  HE DOESN'T KNOW HATE - HE DOESN'T TALK ABOUT PEOPLE- HE DOESN'T JUDGE OR CRITICIZE OTHERS.
CORY IS ABOUT LOVE AND TRUST.  A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD IS SO PURE, THAT WHEN YOU MEET ONE, IT'S AS IF YOU HAVE MET--JESUS.
 
CORY IS MY HEART.
 
COLE, MY YOUNGEST HAS TAKEN ON THE ROLE OF CORY'S PROTECTOR.  AND HE LOVE'S ME MORE THAN ALL THE LEAVES ON ALL THE TREE'S IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD AND INFINITY!
 
COLE IS MY BEAT.
 
MY HUSBAND-DAVE-WHO HATES TO HAVE HIS PICTURE TAKEN HAS BEEN THE LOVE OF MY LIFE FOR FIFTEEN YEARS.  ONE DAY I'LL GET THAT PICTURE!
 
DAVE IS MY PULSE.
 
AND OF COURSE MY SIS-MY TWIN-MY SUPPORTER IN ALL THAT I DO.  AFTER GOD-SHE IS MY ROCK-ANOTHER LOVE IN MY LIFE THAT I COULD NOT DO WITHOUT.
